The Engineering and Contracting division has successfully executed numerous turnkey projects spanning power distribution, transmission, and generation. These achievements follow rigorous qualification and certification processes across various international markets.

Our centralized engineering team, based at the Lebanese headquarters and comprising approximately 60 professionals, ensures superior quality throughout the engineering process prior to project approval. At MATELEC Sal, engineering is 100% in-house—no outsourcing—enabling us to address all client requirements. This includes dimensional and structural (civil/mechanical) calculations, protection and control systems, in full compliance with the most stringent quality standards and tailored to specific technical specifications, particularly for the Italian market.

We have validated our partner’s capabilities in Italy, where it has operated for over 10 years, notably as a supplier of power transformers. Achievements include ENEL Group TCA certifications, type tests, and internationally recognized certifications for manufactured products.
